Sana'a Cleaning Campaign 2015

To combat the accumulation of litter in the streets of Sana'a, and in an effort to encourage the community to take responsibility for the conditions of its habitat, HSF launched a cleaning campaign in May of 2015. The campaign was organized in collaboration with the For Our Country initiative and Our Yemen Starts From Here Foundation. Commencing on 4th of May 2015, the campaign was enthusiastically received by young Yemenis. Volunteers assembled at Hedah road, where they were provided with cleaning tools to clean the area. On the 7th of May, the campaign moved to Iran road, where both volunteers and residents took part in the cleaning efforts.
