Makkenhum Projects

Proceeds from the principle

(Do not give me a fish but teach me how to fish)

Makkenhum to Rise themselves

As part of the new institution's approach to empower poor families, instead of disbursing food aid and assistance from time to time, leaving them vulnerable and needy, no matter how much the assistance they receive, the Foundation has launched a project that "enable them to renaissance themselves." The idea of the project depends on providing the appropriate environment to raise the level of the poorest and most marginalized families in the community, leading to improve the living conditions of families in the areas (health, social, economic, education, environment) and train and empower them through the provision of small projects for themselves , In addition to involving young volunteers in the family development process, that is, each team (consisting of five volunteers) is responsible for promoting the status of each family within a period of six months. The initial phase of the project was implemented during 2014, covering five poor families (as a pilot phase).
