First Phase



In response to the ongoing power outage due to the emergency situation in the country, Hemmat Shabab foundation for development has launched the "liter of light - Yemen" project has been supported of PepsiCo, which supports such a project in many countries in the world that suffer from electricity shortages. Providing lighting for houses in need and unable to provide it. The project targets the neediest and poor areas in the Sana'a city. In the first phase, the project provided solar energy for 750 houses and 250 outdoor lighting poles for homes and streets in the areas of Wadi Ahmed, Madhbah and Al Sunayna as the most viable solution to provide a sustainable and inexpensive solution for lighting problems at the current stage. This will be followed by further phases of solar power delivery to more regions.
