In response to the humanitarian situation and the difficult educational situation in Taiz Governorate, as a result of the war for more than two years, the Education Support Project in Taiz Governorate, which is funded by UNICEF, is a part of its great contribution to reviving the educational process in Yemen in general and in Taiz Governorate in particular.
The aim of the education support project implemented by Hemmat Shabab for Development is to revive and improve the educational process in the city, to accelerate the gradual return to what it was before the war, and to provide the basic and necessary requirements for running education as much as possible.
As part of the project, the bathrooms were restored of thirty-nine schools in five directorates, namely, the districts of Al-Mudhaffar, Cairo, Sala, Al-Shamayatayn, Mashra'a and Hadnan, from which more than 28,902 students benefited, In addition to the restoration of 450 double chairs in 15 schools in Taiz.
Within the framework of the project, school bags and stationery were distributed to 15944 school students, first grade students, in six directorates in Taiz governorate, which are the districts of Cairo, Al-Mudhaffar, Sala, Al-Shamayatayn, Mashra’a and Hadnan, and the Directorate of Sabr Al-Mawadim.
